PJB Building were asked by Compton primary school, to build a bespoke play pod, in essence a heavy duty store that would be filled with outdoor play equipment, for up to 400 pupils to use during break times. After several meetings with the deputy head and others involved in the project a basic design and project plan was put together and the project began.

Using only the best quality pressure treated timber the base was installed and levelled; all the bespoke hand cut frames were constructed and covered with shiplap cladding, and the team carefully lifted and fixed everything into position.  Within four days the whole project seemed to just grow straight out of the ground and looked great. We installed a (fiberglass) GRP roofing system, built storage boxes and hand built the T&G doors and finished it off with an easy access ramp and upvc guttering and downpipe.
