This full garage conversion was a secondary project to a rear garden room extension in Plymstock. The customers wanted the original garage to be converted into a new kitchen and the existing kitchen to be modified into a new utility area.
Careful planning was required with this project as the existing garage had a number of pre existing wall mounted utility services that could not be moved. These included; two solar power inverters with additional storage batteries, a mains gas supply inlet, mains water inlets, and central heating drain offs and feeds.

We added two new structural doorways to the original kitchen to create a utility area, complete with new window layout and also provided the customers with a ground floor toilet facility.
The conversion was a resounding success and the customers were pleased with the extra attention to detail we undertook in order to produce the best possible result for them. An extract from their Buy With Confidence review said;

Close liaison with Building Control and Howdens Kitchens was essential to adhere to building regulations whilst accommodating the existing utility services and maintaining our consistent high level of quality in our work.
The conversion of the garage enabled the customers to link their new kitchen to their main living room producing a light and airy space. We rewired, plumbed, plastered, painted and fitted bespoke kitchen units (many of them complex to incorporate internal fittings and gadgets,) designed and supplied by Howdens.
