Side Extension - Dining and Hobby Room.
This project was all about turning a small family home into a space for them to play, relax and spend quality time together, both inside and out. The brief was to deliver what they wanted, within budget and a timely manner.
This family has two young children with a home that limited ground floor space. With their desire to spend more time playing, creating and relaxing together they felt the space needed to be extended and redesigned to reflect their changing needs.
The family gained planning permission and the project began. After removing an existing garage we began to the build - A new patio area and single storey side extension to facilitate, both a new family dining room and a hobby come general purpose room which could change with the growing and different needs of the family.
The removal of the existing garage left a hard stand and garden on split levels which was to become their new patio area. However we were able to utilise and reclaim material excavated from extension foundations, which not only helps with the general environmental impact works like these have but saved the customer money - which naturally they loved!
Having started on time, three of our highly skilled team fully completed the project in budget and on time.
